dedicated to mum :)

heh mummy, i noe u silently read my blog, and since the UK mother's day is this sunday, i decided to do a post for you! :) hee.

this was inspired by an email i received today from my mum, and she asked me if i was surprised to receive it. (when she had already been emailing me previously) how cute is that :) hehe...this is regarding the summer touring plans, and mummy's been (excitedly) doing research on switzerland and paris, and updating me thru email on her findings. hahaha. i cant wait for them to come in june!! i like to tease my mum tt "wow someone's so cool now can search stuff on the internet :p" but actually i'm really proud of you :) hee. and it's so reassuring to noe, especially after being used to planning trips with friends, that on this summer trip, there'll be you and daddy around to 'be in control'. that always sets everything in place, somehow :)

it's so cute to see her getting stuck into all these 'technology', especially when she tries to figure out msn and skype to talk to me :) even tho i may not outwardly express it or sometimes even show some irritation at the little things like maybe-there's-no-sound-cos-the-speaker-is-not-even-turned-on, deep down i'm really so appreciative of all ur effort in waking up so early and turning on the laptop to talk to me. :)

i miss the times when only two of us were at home for lunch and you would cook porridge and you'll claim that ur porridge's the best and i'll roll my eyes and laugh but silently agree. i miss the times when i played the piano and you sat by my side singing. and how sometimes u are trying so hard to do ur work but once i start playing u just edge nearer and nearer to the piano because u cant help but want to join in :) i miss the times when we'll just sit around in the afternoons, lazing and i'll listen to you complain bout ur tuition kids. i miss the times when u would specially ask if i was coming home for dinner so u could cook something that i loved. i miss the times when you'll nag at me to bring a sweater or an umbrella or smth that i always felt was too lehcheh, but it always ended up in good use.

thank you for being you, for always being so reassuring and comforting. thank you for making things right when i screw up. thank you for teaching me to put my faith in God, and to trust that God will provide. thank you for teaching me patience, kindness and love in ways you may not even noe. thank you for always being so insightful, and for giving helpful and good advice all the time. thank you for bothering to read my blog because you want to find out how i'm doing here. thank you for taking care of problems or just simplifying them when they seem tremendous to me. thank you for loving me so much. :)

i love u, mummy. :)
ps: mummy i noe you're gonna cry when you read this :p
