wonderful weekend :) i cant wait to post up pictures! haha..i went with diane to cambridge on fri nite, which ended a relatively xiong-er week of programming driving test and pti..so was really really excited and happy to go, plus to meet agnes! hehe.

so we arrived at about 1030 in cambridge and diane and i went our 'separate ways' - me going with agnes to her college and diane with yvonne. it was late at nite, so couldnt see much of the town yet, i was jus freezing all e way back to her college..heh..and we had hot chips with cheese from this trailer stall! heh..went back, settled down, talked for a long long long time..only slept at 5 am. heh..

and we woke up early (ok we snoozed the alarm clock ALOT) to go for her chem lect in the morn at 10am! didnt really pay attention to the lect la, altho it was supposed to be by the young professor who wrote the textbooks they were using haha i still wasnt that interested in chem :p den we walked around some shops for a while for her hour's break before going to physio lecture which was more interesting! wha.can really see the passion the lecturer has for the subject in the way he zooms off and explains the bodily processes without much notes in front of him (vaguely heard words like aveolar ventilation..dead spaces or smth haha) and yea paid more attention.

after that we went to get lunch and shopped around a bit more, this time with yf cos he had nothing else to do anw and could bring us around st johns, his college, where agnes wanted to show me..bought some stuff from a cheap shop, and also this milkshake powder! so fun :) heh..after shopping we went around visiting colleges - kings, trinity and st johns...all very pretty pretty buildings! and also with the little rivers and the bridges..everywhere seemed like a good place to take a photo. heh..so fun, cos we would like stop and make yf take photos for us..heh..so touristy :) and yea..i cant really imagine living and studying in a tourist attraction all in itself..heh..oh ya! i forgot to mention the fudge shop!! awesome fudge!! everyone going to cambridge must try it. thanx yf for treating! :) hehe

bought groceries, went back to robinson and cooked FRIED DONG FEN with baked chicken! :) dong fen dong fen dong fen :p hehe...so nice man. ate like -so- much..haha..but anw. was great. then we talked again till 2 am. hehe..

next day, after snoozing the alarm clock alot again, we finally woke up to go to church..heh..we went to the king's college chapel..supposedly the more famous chapels, and too bad we were a bit late if not we could have sit inside the main hall..but anws..the choir was AWESOME. it was a boys choir..or a male choir. haa cos it ranged from little little boys to uni-looking guys..and they sang beautifully. really beautifully. especially in such a chapel with great acousitcs and wonderful architecture, it was really fantastic, and it really fills you with awe..it's like when they start singing, i'll even get goosebumps! haha..yea..our God is an awesome God. :) it was a different kind of service tho...very traditional..ha..not really used to it..but was a good experience.

we then went grocery shopping again and back to cook lunch again..ha.rushed like mad when we realised it's almost time we were supposed to meet diane yvonne and the rest. agnes cooked SALMON FRIED BEEHOON with lots of CHILLI!!! haha...yea man...altho slightly too spicy..but it was good. haha..i made french toast too to use up some bread. heh..after that we rushed off to meet the rest for punting! was so fun..and i tried it too! haha..it's difficult man! haha..need strength, coordination and hands that can tahan the veryveryvery cold weather! haha..took lotsa fun and scenic pictures too..

then we rushed back to yvonne's college to collect our bags, and since we ended late, we ran most of the way there, and then to the bus station. agnes had a bike so she went ahead to try and catch the bus to tell them to wait a little for us cos we were on our way..and we ran most of the way..with our big bag packs..all the way till we reached the bus station, and were across the road, when our bus started driving off. we were like ?!?!?! we're just across the road!! agnes had been trying to ask them to wait, but they said they werent allowed to wait. so they just drove off. best. at least they allowed us to go on the 530 bus without having to pay extra, which was also a blessing in disguise cos alot of my stuff were in agnes' bag, and it was highly possible that if we had managed to chiong onto that earlier bus, i would have left all my impt stuff like wallet phone and camera in her bag..sat there waiting for the next bus, and it finally came.

boarded the bus, put everything down, preparing myself for the ride home. suddenly, something struck me. i knew what i forgot to pack back into my bag. my little pillow. because we were rushing the whole day that day..i just knew i would forget to pack something in. but why the pillow?? :( :( was a little upset..but oh wells. i think i'll be seeing agnes soon again either for notts games or her boat party in london..i miss my pillow already. :p

but other than that, it was a great trip..we talked alot about everything..and it was jus so nice :) we must do this again! :)
