feels as if it's been quite long since i last blogged, mainly cos e last few days haf been both busy and tiring..wif work ending so late and zan mei hui and all..well zmh was really enjoyable both nites, spending much fun time wif fellow choir frens, and singing e oh- so-beautiful-and-meaningful songs. :D my fav song: zhi dao wo xin si (know my heart) the lyrics and e music is just a wonderful combination :D esp nice too when singing wif e fellow altos and sops for fun, like that time at e staircase :p

learnt a lesson of faith this zmh, amidst other lessons too. for e sec nite, at almost 730, we looked at the no. of ppl already seated in the recital hall thru e close circuit tv, and the no. of ppl present then was pathetic. so many empty spaces, only a few seats filled. a sight like this certainly was quite discouraging to quite a few of us, but i reminded myself then that we were not singing for men, but to glorify His name. reminded myself to have faith, and to trust in His own plans and His perfect time. was a relieving thot. after that, didnt get to see e no. of ppl again until we went on stage. was gladly surprised by e no. of ppl present then. hall wasnt filled, but was already a stark diff from e scene i'd seen earlier. after e first few songs, a huge group of ppl were ushered in further. was greatly encouraged.

not to be affected by the mere no. of ppl present, but to focus on praising and worshipping my father in heaven, giving thanks for our blessings.

the week starts again today, and it saddens me quite a bit to think that we wont be having any more choir practices, which i've grown accustomed to. maybe we wont be able to see those familiar faces as often cos of the different services we attend. but i am thankful to the Lord that i have had this opportunity to serve in this area, and that even tho we noe not what e future might hold, we know we've shared these precious memories together as a choir. :) looking forward to realising our dream of forming our very own accapella group! hope we do get down to it ladies! :)

today at work i signed e 5 mth contract le, hope all goes well..today i also got a table of my own, and will be taking over e ocbc stuff..currently still quite fine wif the job, mayb cos i'm still learning so it's not that sian? hope that i'll be able to haf a happy 5 mths wif this job, and continue to learn to give thanx for everything he has done for me.
